"I wasn't sure what to expect from Breanne's mindful photography workshop, but I knew I carried a lot of guilt and pain after losing my sister, Lynne, to cancer. It was the darkest time of my life. I had already leaned heavily on my toolbox of well-being-meditation, photography, journaling, nature, walking, and wild swimming-but Breanne's class helped me unravel everything in a way I hadn't anticipated.
What surprised me most was the shift in my perspective. I had been so focused on looking back, but Breanne's thoughtful approach helped me realise it was okay to start looking forward. Her exercises encouraged me to reframe my grief, and her calm and supportive presence made me feel comfortable every step of the way.
The photo challenges were especially meaningful. Revisiting places where Lynne and I had happy memories gave me a new lens-both literally and figuratively. It reminded me that it's okay to focus on myself, to see this as "work"-work to heal, to grow, and to build a new mindset for the life I want to create.
The group environment was incredibly supportive. Sharing our grief, each of us at different stages, allowed us to connect deeply, give support, and receive it. Breanne created a warm, safe space where it felt okay to be vulnerable and honest.
Would I recommend this to others navigating grief? Absolutely. Breanne's workshop provides a creative and gentle way to process grief, helping you unravel your thoughts and emotions while finding new clarity. It's a powerful way to move from holding grief to starting to embrace life again."
