About me

My values

Wonder

I stay curious about grief, life and what is possible rather than assuming there is just one right way for people to experience it and meet it. Grief is unique to everybody, and coaching meets someone where they are and is tailored specifically for their experience.

Open-heartedness

I meet people and their experiences with warmth and openness to the full range of what grief can contain.

Compassion

I meet people with kindness and humanity, without judgement, pressure or expectations about how they should grieve. Everyone is welcome, exactly as they are.

Dignity

I respect all people. The person I'm coaching remains the authority on their own life. I can offer questions, perspectives, ideas and challenge, but I don't decide what their relationship with grief, the person who died, other people or their future should look like.

Integrity

I am clear about what grief coaching is and what it isn't. I work within my competence, draw on evidence and thoughtful practice, and don't promise to fix, treat, or resolve grief.
